How Supported Apprenticeships work  

  1. Recruitment & Matching 

We work with you to understand your business needs and match you with a well-suited apprentice who has the skills and potential to thrive in the role and your organisation.  

  1. Tailored Workplace Support 

Our Job Coaches provide on-the-job support, ensuring the apprentice settles in, understands their tasks, and develops workplace confidence.  

  1. Training & Development 

Apprentices receive structured training, including employability skills and industry-specific qualifications, tailored to their learning needs. We also provide bespoke inclusivity Employer Training for your employees.  

  1. Ongoing Support & Progress Reviews 

We conduct regular check-ins with both employer and apprentice, adapting support as needed to ensure long-term independent success with your organisation. 

Foundation Apprenticeships 

Alongside traditional apprenticeship routes of 1 – 3 years, we are now offering Foundation Apprenticeships, a smart, cost-effective way for employers to build entry-level talent. 

With this shorter programme, employers can benefit from: 

  • A shorter 8-month programme 
  • Up to £3,000 in government funding per apprentice 

Work experience 

Work experience gives our potential apprentices the opportunity to try out different roles. 

It’s also a great way for prospective employers like you to get to know a potential apprentice and how they could contribute to your organisation.

Work experience

Work experience gives our jobseekers the opportunity to try out different roles and take a first step into the world of work.

It’s also a great way for prospective employers to see what it’s like to employ one of our candidates without having to make a long-term commitment.

About the placements

Our unpaid work experience placements last between a fortnight and a month. We aim to offer all our trainees up to eight weeks of work experience in total.

Throughout the work experience placements full support will be provided by Job Coaches to ensure that the maximum benefits are achieved with the minimum effort from the employer.

We have a number of well-established work experience opportunities available to our trainees including with the NHS, Barclays Bank and local authorities.
