Little Gate is a registered charity born out of a vision to enrich the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism.
We do this through providing Supported Training, Supported Apprenticeship and Supported Employment opportunities for adults – with the aim of helping them find paid employment and a better future.
In addition, we support the parents of our trainees through our Parent Forum and run a fun-filled Little Gate Rangers youth scheme.
The home of our charity is at Little Gate Farm; 46 acres of pasture and ancient woodland in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Owned since the 1960s by the Cordell family, they have now turned their attention from sheep farming to the Little Gate charity. However, plenty of farm animals, as well as the local wildlife, still call Little Gate their home.
We also have a Hastings office from which we manage our Supported Employment programme.
