Our beautiful farm and woodland could be the perfect venue for your celebration. We offer an enchanting blank canvas for those wanting to add their own style to a wedding or party. We welcome weddings and other celebrations, catering from 40 to 150 guests. Whether it’s a posh picnic, an afternoon tea with Pimm’s and prosecco or a festival style party with food trucks, live music and camping; we have the perfect location to make your wedding or party truly magical and unique.
The Barn
Our gorgeous rustic barn features exposed beams and natural lighting, creating a romantic and inviting
atmosphere. The barn is open to the front and looks out onto a luscious green field, surrounded by beautiful countryside for you and your guests to enjoy the fresh air and picturesque views.
To make the most of our stunning location, an open capri marquee with flooring and lighting is supplied for you, so that you and your guests feel totally enveloped by nature. If the weather isn’t kind, the barn area is protected by a green and clear roof and the sides of the marquee can be attached, so your celebrations can continue uninterrupted.
The Mezzanine
The mezzanine area of the barn offers additional covered space for photo opportunities, a photo booth or simply for your guests to relax.
We also have a great camping field for your guests to really bring home that festival feeling. We are unable to provide tents but can put you in touch with some great suppliers so you can choose exactly what you want.
Our dedicated Wedding & Events Consultant is on hand to support you with the planning of your special day. We have lists of recommended suppliers and work closely with several event caterers and catering vans who are experienced in providing fabulous food or, if you are adventurous, you can cater yourselves.
Little Gates’ mission is to help adults with learning disabilities and autism to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives by becoming more independent and gaining meaningful paid employment. Choosing the farm as the venue for your celebration not only provides you with an enchanting outdoor setting, but you will also help to fund and support our work and opportunities for our
trainees.
Situated in Beckley, Rye, our farm is an idyllic location for any celebration. Surrounded by nature, our farm offers a true sense of peace and serenity.

More about what we do and how we prepare trainees for your special event
Our mission is to help people with learning disabilities and autism into paid work.
We do this through our Supported Work Training Programme, finding Supported Employment and Supported Apprenticeship opportunities, and continuing to support both our trainees and their employers throughout their career.
At the beginning of each season we invite our trainees to apply for our wedding and other event roles. This may be working behind the bar, serving food and making sure our guests are happy. We will interview interested trainees and make our selection based on their skills and strengths. This will be followed by a 6-week training programme at the farm to ensure they are the best they can be. Each trainee will be supported by one of our talented job coaches who will have spent time building a relationship with them.
They will be paid for working at your event giving them a real sense of pride and achievement.
