On arrival at Little Gate Farm
Please let us know if you are planning to visit the farm so we can make arrangements. Unexpected visits can cause disruption to the training planned for the day.
Due to our rather tight entrance and narrow lanes, we cannot take 50 seat coaches. Minibuses and small coaches can turn and park in the farm’s car park.
Please remember that this is a working farm and dress appropriately (if it’s wet you may need wellies!).

Approaching from Hastings
Take the A21 leading out of Hastings and, just after Sainsbury’s, turn right onto the A28 towards Ashford.
Follow the A28 through Brede and Broad Oak.
At Horns Cross take the right turning for Beckley onto the B2165. After 1 ½ miles you reach a T junction; turn onto the B2088 and you’ll enter Beckley.
Horseshoe Lane is a short way down on your right, signposted to Broad Oak and Udimore. Follow Horseshoe Lane to the end and you will come to Little Gate Farm, the last farm before the woods.
Approaching from Rye
Take the A268 from Rye through Rye Foreign and Peasmarsh.
At Four Oaks turn left at the roundabout onto the B2088 towards Beckley.
Take the second left turning into Kings Bank Lane, which is signposted to Brede and Udimore.
At the crossroads with Horseshoe Lane, turn left (signposted to Udimore) and we are at the end of the road; the last farm before the woods.

Parking availability
The nearest car park to our office is the Castle Hill Road car park, although the Priory Meadow Shopping Centre car park and the Cornwallis Street car park are also in walking distance.
There is some parking on Portland Place, but please note that it is all paid parking.
Directions
We are located in the centre of Hastings, just off Queens Road. You can access Portland Place by car, please note it’s a one-way street.
Travelling by bus, the closest stops are at the Priory Meadow Shopping Centre.
If you’re walking up from Queens Road (the town centre) please note that it’s quite a steep climb.
We’re in the Jackson Hall building, which is also home to Hastings Voluntary Action.
