🌿 About Little Gate Flowers
Based at Little Gate Farm in Beckley near Rye, Little Gate Flowers is our Cut Flower Social Enterprise. We sow, nurture and sell the flowers we grow!
Our mission is two-fold:
- To provide an environmentally and socially conscious product for our community
- To give our trainees valuable, hands-on experience in a supportive workplace
We grow all our flowers with nature in mind: using organic principles, planting for pollinators, and moving towards more perennial plants to reduce waste and support biodiversity. By selling locally, we keep our carbon footprint low.
Every bouquet is grown with care, and every sale supports both our trainees and our charity.

🌱 What Our Trainees Gain

- Practical horticultural skills – sowing, propagation, plant care, garden maintenance, cutting, drying, and arranging
- Customer service experience – running flower stalls and markets

Woodland enterprise
We sell a range of woodland products, all produced at Little Gate Farm by our trainees.
Our produce includes:
- Logs / firewood
- Charcoal
- Candlesticks (at Christmas only)
You can buy our charcoal from Browns Farm Shop in Robertsbridge and Salts Farm Shop near Rye. Some products are also available for wholesale purchase, please contact us for details.
