Part Time Cleaner

Job title: Little Gate Cleaner

Department: Little Gate Farm

Responsible to: Head of Little Gate Farm

Salary: £9 an hour

Start date: Immediately, following induction

Job purpose

  • To clean the office spaces and toilets at Little Gate to a high standard
  • To cleanworkspaces at Little Gate, creating a hygienic and safe environment, which will enable trainees to do their best work

Main duties

· To build positive relationships with staff

· Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and moping surfaces, in work areas, including the log cabin, and offices.

· Cleaning toilets, sinks and touch points.

· Emptying and cleaning bins.

· Notify management of any health and safety concerns.

· Stock and maintain supplies as required.

· Undertake training and induction as required.

· Demonstrate commitment to Little Gate Farm’s values and vision.

Additional duties

  • Taking part in opportunities and training to boost your own learning and continuous professional development
  • Attend and take part in staff meetings to support the smooth running of Little Gate
  • To work in accordance with the Health & Safety Act and our health and safety policies.
  • To engage in regular 1:1’s and appraisals

PERSON SPECIFICATION

A satisfactory health record and criminal record check (DBS)

Own transport/ability to travel to the workplace independently

Hours

Part time – days and times negotiable (8 hours total a week)

4 hours on Friday (4-8pm)

2 hours x 2 days a week (Ideally 2 hours Mon and 2 hours Wed approx. 4-6pm)
