Little Gate Farm is a 46 acre farm in Beckley, East Sussex. The farm is half pasture, half woodland and it’s in the East Sussex high weald area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Little Gate Farm has been owned by the Cordell family since the 1960’s and has been predominantly a sheep farm. Today we farm goats, pigs, horses, chickens, geese, ducks, rabbits and alpacas. We also grow vegetables, fruit and flowers. Our Woodland team manage our woodland using traditional techniques. Conservation is at the heart of everything we do.
Facilities at Little Gate Farm
We have a large log cabin with cooking facilities and outside areas for picnics with accessible toilets and hand washing facilities.
Additionally, we have a large classroom and an ICT suite, cloak room, boot locker, kitchen and dry picnic area.
We also have several covered areas in the woods for picnics and camp fire building.
In 2015 we completed our barn which provides us with a large indoor space. We have just begun work on a fully accessible animal shelter for our horses, goats and poultry.
